Random Thought [code:pain-and-joy]

To be constantly cheerful, we should treat absence of joy as absence of pain, and absence of pain as presence of joy. One immediate application is in the way we perceive envy. Failing to seek greater joy must not generate unnecessary envy. And when one succesfully denied envy, one must generate happiness.

Random Thought [code:prenanowrimo]

Kamus itu fungsinya pencatatan penggunaan kata. Fungsinya seperti buku sejarah. Jadi kolot terhadap kamus itu konyol.

contoh dari http://www.thefreedictionary.com/dabble:
dab·ble (dbl)
v. dab·bled, dab·bling, dab·bles
v.tr.
To splash or spatter with or as if with a liquid: “The moon hung over the harbor dabbling the waves with gold” (Katherine Mansfield).
v.intr.
1. To splash liquid gently and playfully.
2. To undertake something superficially or without serious intent: “The restaurant business entails more than . . . dabbling in interior design” (Andy Birsh).
3. To bob forward and under in shallow water so as to feed off the bottom.

JK Rowling’s word for non-wizards – “muggle” – has made it into the new edition of the Oxford English Dictionary (OED). It’s the first time the word has made it into a major dictionary, two Scottish newspapers report. But its meaning has been extended to also mean a clumsy person or someone who can’t pick up a particular skill easily – like computing.
